Auditions
Auditions are held for the first two weeks of every semester, and people of all levels of musicianship are encouraged to audition.
Auditions are about 15 minutes long, and include basic warm-ups, a test of vocal range, tonal memory and recognition. Finally we ask for a short solo, around 16 bars. We like to hear a cappella pieces, but you're more than welcome to bring in an accompanied piece of music that we can play.
Our rehearsals are from 4:15-6:00 PM on Wednesday and Friday. We also occasionally have sectionals and small group rehearsals from 5:15-6:00 PM on Monday. We expect consistent attendance, but exceptions can be made for recurring class conflicts.
